GriFin (Grid for Finance) is an ongoing Italian project started in 2007, partially supported by the Italian Ministry of Research where Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A. collaborate with University of Lecce and the SPACI Consortium. It aims to create a Problem Solving Environment (PSE) for the financial market based on Grid infrastructures (mainly globus and gLite).

SPACI Consortium, during consultancy activity, worked on:

  • Realization of a prototype for full and transparent access to data and computational resources  through grid portals

  • Grid Interoperability

  • Advanced Grid Tools

  • Deployment and testing of algorithms related to Bond Portfolio Management
